Get started with LatentPost

LatentPost adds two nodes to ComfyUI. One uploads your outputs to your Fanvue vault; the other schedules posts. Setup takes about five minutes.

You need a Fanvue creator account, and ComfyUI 0.3.44 or later with ComfyUI Manager. ComfyUI Desktop includes both.

  1. 1. Connect your Fanvue account

    1. Click Connect your Fanvue account.
    2. Sign in with Fanvue and approve the permissions. LatentPost never sees your Fanvue password.
    3. On your dashboard, click Create API key and copy the key. It's shown only once. If you lose it, click Replace API key to get a new one.
  2. 2. Install the nodes

    1. In ComfyUI, open the Comfy menu (top left) → Extensions. In older versions of ComfyUI, open Manager → Custom Nodes Manager instead.
    2. Search for comfyui-fanvue ("LatentPost for Fanvue") and click Install.
    3. Restart ComfyUI when it asks.
  3. 3. Add your API key

Open Settings (the gear icon) → LatentPost → API key, and paste your key.

The key is saved in ComfyUI's settings, not in your workflows. Sharing a workflow, or an image made with one, never shares your key.

  4. 4. Upload to your vault

    1. Double-click the canvas, search for Save to Fanvue Vault, and add it.
    2. Connect your images to its images input. It can replace Save Image, or sit next to it.
    3. Set folder to the vault folder you want. LatentPost creates it if it doesn't exist.
    4. Run the workflow. The node shows each upload's progress, then "Uploaded 4 to vault folder 'ComfyUI'".

Videos and audio: in file_paths, enter the files your workflow saved, one per line, for example video/ComfyUI_00001.mp4. These paths are inside ComfyUI's output folder. Files must be in ComfyUI's output, input or temp folder, so a workflow someone shares with you can't upload other files from your computer.

Supported files: PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF, MP4, MOV, WEBM, M4V, MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG and FLAC, up to 1.5 GB each.

Images are uploaded as clean PNGs, without the workflow and prompts that ComfyUI's Save Image puts in every file.

  5. 5. Schedule a post (Pro)

    1. Add Schedule Fanvue Post and connect media_uuids from Save to Fanvue Vault.
    2. Write the caption in text, and choose the audience.
    3. Choose when it goes out. In publish_in_minutes, 0 publishes right away and 60 publishes in an hour. Or set publish_at to a time like 2026-10-20 18:00, in your computer's time zone; it overrides publish_in_minutes.
    4. For a paid post, set price_cents, for example 500 for $5.00. Paid posts start at $3.00 and need media.

Fanvue does the scheduling, so you can close ComfyUI afterwards. Scheduled posts show in Fanvue like any other; edit or delete them there.

Running a workflow again with the same inputs doesn't upload or post a second time. The node shows "Already done in an earlier run" instead. To post again, change something, like the caption or the seed. This resets when ComfyUI restarts.
