What LatentPost stores about you, why, who else handles it, and your rights, including under the EU and UK GDPR.
Who we are
LatentPost is run by an independent developer, who is the controller of the personal data on this page. For anything about your data, email support@latentpost.com.
What we store
- Your Fanvue account ID, and when you first connected.
- Your Fanvue sign-in tokens, encrypted, so ComfyUI keeps working without you signing in again.
- A one-way hash of your API key.
- Your plan, as Fanvue reports it, and when it was last checked.
- Daily counts of your uploads and posts.
What we don't store
Your images, videos, captions or post text, and your name, handle or email. Media goes directly from your computer to Fanvue's storage through short-lived upload links and never passes through our servers. The dashboard asks Fanvue for your handle each time it shows it, and doesn't save it.
The ComfyUI nodes have no analytics or tracking. They only send the requests needed to upload and post.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To provide the service you connected for: uploads, posts and your plan's limits. The legal basis is our contract with you (GDPR article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the service secure, stop abuse, and count how many people use it, from the daily counts. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a safe service that's worth keeping (article 6(1)(f)). You can object by emailing us.
We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or profile you.
Cookies
Two cookies, both needed to sign you in: one for the 10 minutes it takes to connect your Fanvue account, and one that keeps you signed in to the dashboard for 7 days. No analytics or advertising cookies.
Who else handles your data
- Cloudflare hosts LatentPost and its database, and forwards email sent to our support address. It processes request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service.
- Proton, in Switzerland, hosts our support inbox.
- Fanvue holds your account, media and posts, and bills paid plans, under its own privacy policy. From Fanvue's billing, LatentPost only learns whether you have an active paid plan.
Where it's stored
Our database is in Cloudflare's eastern North America region. For transfers from the EU, UK and Switzerland, Cloudflare is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss counterparts, and its data processing terms include the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Switzerland, where Proton is, has an EU adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
- Everything under "What we store": until you disconnect. It's deleted at once, and is gone from the database's backups within 30 days.
- Error logs: we log only unexpected errors, never request contents, tokens, captions or media, and keep no record of requests. Error logs are deleted within 7 days.
- Emails to support: until your question is resolved, and never more than two years.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or to correct, delete or export it, or to restrict or object to how we use it. "Disconnect and delete my data" on the dashboard deletes everything at once. For anything else, email support@latentpost.com; we reply within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
If Fanvue lists LatentPost among your connected apps, you can remove it there too.
Children
LatentPost is for Fanvue creators, who must be adults. It isn't meant for anyone under 18.
